Independent singer-songwriter Rae Bleu creates music from emotion; whether it be heartbreak, infatuation, love, loss, or existential dread. Her captivating emotional piano ballads paired with the dramatics of her synth-pop anthems give audiences “emotional whiplash”.
Based out of the Utica, NY area, Rae began performing at local open mic nights at age 14, quickly earning local gigs at bars and breweries. At 15, she started teaching herself piano after years of writing lyrics and vocal melodies. Now at 17 years old, she mostly performs her originals, with a few covers mixed in - making each song her own. With Rae’s intense stage presence, powerful songs, and determined attitude, she has been compared to the likes of Lady Gaga and David Bowie.
